The new Group will use the global presence of Siemens in 190 countries to serve its international customers with IT solutions and service worldwide. Siemens has pooled its worldwide IT solutions and software know-how in the new Siemens Group with a view to consolidating its global IT expertise. In Italy, Siemens IT Solutions and Services SpA started on February, 22th 2007. The company has been renamed (formerly Siemens Informatica) and through a capital increase carried out by the Siemens AG, has boosted its stake in the company from 51 per cent to 92 per cent. Siemens IT Solutions and Services SpA , as an industrial holding, includes also the following legal entities: E-utile Spa (JV with AEM), specialized in ICT services for the public utilities, Italdata Spa as competence center focused on Emergency Management, E-learning, Mobile Business (owned at 100%) and SBS Spa. The Company has headquarters in Milan, Rome and Avellino.
