Core business
The Italtel Group designs, develops and installs new-generation integrated telecom networks (voice/data/video), enabling management of voice traffic over the Internet. With an added value: a systems integration capability that provides telecom operators, ISPs, Public Sector and Large Enterprises, with infrastructures that are reliable and open to networking and future technological developments.

Equity structure
The shareholders are: Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a US private equity firm, Telecom Italia, Cisco Systems, world leader in networking for the Internet, Advent International and Brera Capital.

Sites, Human Resources, Markets
Italtel's head-offices and commercial offices are located in, respectively, Castelletto di Settimo Milanese (Milan) and Rome, while its research labs are situated partially in Castelletto and in Carini, near Palermo. Italtel has a total of approximately 2,400 employees.
Besides being leader in Italy, Italtel has also a large presence abroad: France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, UK, Greece, Poland, Russia, United Arab Emirates and Latin America, specifically Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Guatemala.
Revenues for 2005 amount to 545.8 million euro.
