ESRI Italia was founded in 1990 and, since then, has been operating in the field of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS). ESRI Italia is the Italian Official Distributor of ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc.), a Company established in 1969, based in Redlands (CA/USA) and currently the worldwide leader in GIS software.

ESRI Italia is owned by GKH (Geo-spatial Knowledge Holding), a private-owned Italian Holding.
Activities performed by ESRI Italia can be grouped in the following main classes:
-Marketing and Sales of GIS software (SUITE ARCGIS);
-Design and implementation of GIS solutions in many different Industries;
-Professional Services related to GIS Best Practices, such as Business Consultancy, GeoDatabase modelling and design, application software implementation, education and training, technical assistance and support.
