Assindustria Ancona, the Association of Business and Industry of Ancona's province, is part of the national system of Confindustria. Founded in 1944, Assindustria has been continuous and dynamically present on the province's economic scene for more than 60 years now by actively cooperating with firms and always playing a leading role in the growth of the local economy. An unquestioned protagonist of the province's economic system, it is involved on several fronts:
- it protects the member firms' interests;
- it fosters the development of entrepreneurial activities;
- it provides its member companies with information and advise;
- it carries out studies and researches, and patronizes meetings on economic, social and institutional topics of general interest.
